When Terror Is Not Terrorism

Noam Chomsky explains this very well. The political definition of terrorism keeps acts by certain actors exempt from the label even though they have committed atrocious acts of violence against communities and populations and in many cases actually initiated hostilities. We can't have justice or peace without fairness. We can always stack the deck in our favor, but the laws of nature or karma or just dumb luck will eventually level the playing field. The Palestinians won't just go away, Palestine was taken from them. But only Palestinians are considered terrorist no matter how many of them are killed by Israelis with tanks and jets paid for by the US.

In the interest of justice and peace, we just want to report acurately and fairly on all events. It is our hope that good information will help clear the air and avert disasters caused by ignorance and bigotry. An impossible job? Maybe. But we still have to try. As long as we have life, we must fight to right the evil being done in our name.
