This is why many people voted against the establishment. You had to be a partisan democrat to excuse all of the excessses. The electorate spoke. People have a right to protest just as they have a right to vote for any of the available candidates. Why are we protesting a vote aginst establishmenet arrogance and intollerance? That's what it was. People were bullied into this position from the beginning, despite our direst warnings. The establishment believed it's own lies and have only themselves to blame.
President Obama couldn't save her from herself. "it's a done deal," she said. Oh it is, is it? We'll have to see about that on election day. No one could stop her from putting both feet in her mouth. And though the president himself appeared to be so sullied and compromised by corruption that his popularity wouldn't translate into votes, the establishment blared blindly on. Nothing would cause them to alter course. They piled on celebrity endorsements and endorsements from everyone who is anyone in the USA. Even republicans endorsed her. But disaster struck. The majority threw up their collective middle fingers and caused riots in the streets.

But back to Obama.This election was as much a reflection on his policies as was a rebuff of the entire establishment. There was so much wrong, but when the president himself didn't want to get to the bottom of any of it, it was time for him to go. And that included his legacy. I never would have thought that the first black president would break all presidential records for intolerance towards people striving for transparency in government.
If we're going to fix this we need better information. Social media won this battle for Trump. Will we listen to our own voices or will we continue to depend on mainstream media to manipulate and misinform us? That's the question.
