Acknowledging the Deep State

It's time to acknowledge the Deep State. For years it was just thought to be figments of overactive imaginations. It was so crazy that before the last election people were laughing at the silly tin hat wearing neophytes claiming all kinds of crazy reports and theories, instead of believing the official, government sanctioned and widely reported versions of events. We had the grassy knoll debunked reports, the MLK CIA nutty conspiracy theory, and don't forget the CIA and Iran/Contra crazy assumptions, thoroughly debunked. We could go on through 9/11 and the Iraq War. And don't forget about Libya, Ukraine, Syria and Yemen. People just invent these crazy stories. Oliver North was a national hero.
Conspiracy theorist is the tag most often applied to these people. They are the ones who recognize that the reports and narratives of events in the last 50 years have been controlled and manipulated just enough by intelligence agencies and individuals in unelected positions to satisfy only casual observation and inspection from government officials and the mainstream media. But now, we are looking at failures of such epic proportions that we are looking back, trying to find out where we made our mistakes. We are finally getting to see what has already been called the Deep State. The Bible says, "By their fruits ye shall know them," St. Matthew 7:20 KJV. Well, lies, death and destruction of every inquiry into historical events is met with, "classified" and "need to know." Well, we might not know all of the Top Secret, Classified information, but we are now clearly seeing this never before exposed entity and it's agenda. The Deep State is real folks, and elections won't fix this. As long as the government has so many secrets, we'll never be free. Like president Kennedy said before he was assassinated, "We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it."
And it's the only way back from here. We need to know what these people have been doing in our name.
